Wanda Long Barn Quilts

My painting of barn quilts started after I retired. I took a one day workshop to paint one for myself and fell in love with creating and painting them. It turned into a great hobby during the ongoing COVID period. All my barn quilts are painted on aluminum and hold up well in all weather conditions. Many are custom designs and colors specifically for individual orders.

There was / is an assumption that barn quilts were only for barns in huge 8x8 sizes but by popular demand they have become outdoor art, which can be tailored for any building eg. front porches, sheds, garden sheds, cottages, bunkies, and boat houses or even mounted on pool or garden fences. My common sizes range from 2 x 2 feet, 3 x 3 feet, and 4 x 4 feet, with other options available. Placement is only limited to your imagination. I love looking out my kitchen window every morning and seeing that pop of colour to start my day. I look forward to meeting you at the River Road Arts Fair on June 21st.
